Children’s Room
Visit our children’s area to imagine, learn, and grow in a special place just for children and families. Drive or take an imaginary ride on our interactive bookmobile with sensory and fine motor activities for babies and toddlers and STEAM activities for preschoolers and early elementary age children. You have to see it to fully experience the lights, the buttons and switches, the pretend play, and the carpeted road to the best place around – your library!
Get comfortable in a special seating area for children and families. Use our early learning computers and iPads (on the bookmobile) to sharpen your skills. Browse our selection of board books, picture books, easy readers, early learning nonfiction titles, and chapter books. It’s a great place to meet for a play or study date.
Don’t forget to register or stop in for any of our programs, including STEAM programs, family fun days, the summer reading program, and story hours, which meet in our new Robert M. Conley Room, a multipurpose/story hour space.
