Johnson County Public Library is excited to introduce: Passport to Your Community.
“Connecting Families, Building Communities.”
A new initiative funded by the Stories of Support grant, dedicated to connecting families directly with vital resources, strengthening community ties, and enhancing family resilience and well-being.
Program Highlights:
✅ Easily access valuable resources and services such as:
- Dolly Parton Imagination Library
- Imagine, Learn, Grow Story Time @ JCPL
- Johnson County Cooperative Extension’s FCS Programs
- Johnson County Health Department’s HANDS program
- And many more community programs!
✅ Earn incentives like gas cards, grocery gift cards, and discounts at local businesses through active participation!
✅ Strengthen your family’s social connections and find support during challenging times.
✅ Please note that a family must have at least one child age five or under to participate in this pilot program.

Meet Pamela Hereford – Community Navigator
An experienced community leader dedicated to family engagement and support. Pamela brings over 25 years of experience in community partnerships, early childhood education, and family support services. She is a certified trainer and a regional leader with expertise in connecting families with essential resources. Pamela enjoys spending time with family/friends and looks forward to serving the community.
